Worked fine last year. Not getting fire to plugs. Put in new plugs. Then checked cd ignition unit and it is fine, disconnected kill swith when testing.
So it DOES crank, but not fire. Check resistance of the exciter, as well as following the resistance checks of the CD as per the Factory service manual. You must use an analog (not digital) meter, with battery of 3vdc or less.
Check Ignition Coil, does each plug fires when removed while grounded when engine is cranked ? check all electrical related component grounds to be immaculate clean and shinny for a good ground contact.
