Hello,
The cooling stream from my 'new to me' outboard is not consistent. When i first start the outboard, i get a steady stream of water pouring out of the cooling water check port. then after a couple of minutes, it slows to a trickle.
I checked the impeller and it was fine. i am assuming that the thermostat is clogged, but the service manual doesn't indicate where the thermostat is located. it only shows me how to dunk it in warm water to test the valve (yeah thanks a lot).
Could someone point be to the location of the thermostat?
