Nissan NS90A lower unit

serial number is 3B7-1-15212

The skeg on this motor was once broken off and welded back on. The weld was poorly done and the skeg was welded crooked, the result is that the boat pulls hard to starboard.

I would like another lower unit to correct this. Does anyone know if the replacement skegs work OK?

Are lower units difficult to find for this motor and how much would I expect to pay for one?

A new lower unit is over $2000.00 so it would not be cost effective to replace it. Welding on a new skeg is tricky and can result in damage to specs of the housing.
