Nissan NS8B 1998 8hp t0 9.9 or 15hp conversion

I have a 98 Nisan NS8B can it be converted to a 9.9 or 15hp. I searched the threads but couldn't find an answer. If so what parts are needed. Thanks in advance for replys.

You can convert a 8 HP into a 9.8 HP, but no way into a 9.9 or 15 HP. Are different horses. Will need a carb swap.

You are right Paul, wasn't sure about that oldie model compatibility. Would you say that an old NS8B won't match a newer production Tohatsu M9.8 B series for carb swapping. ?

Depends on the serial number. 99% will not work.
