Nissan NS70A2 - Can you find impellers/water pumps yet?

I'm looking at buying a NS70A2 that is in great condition. But if I still can't get an impeller or water pump (or whatever else) then I won't bother.

Any updates on getting this part? From Sierra or Tohatsu or ?

Probably Tohatsu M70 WP kit will match, the experts should provide a proper tech answer...

The impeller and kits are NLA from Tohatsu. There are a few NOS units for sale on eBay and other Internet spots. Also... There is an Australian with a "cottage industry" making reproduction impellers and pump housings. Do you think it would be worth buying this particular low hour motor given that fact? Asking price is $1500 but I'd offer around $500 or thereabouts. My other option is a 3 cylinder Johnson 60 early 90's with VRO.

It would make no sense to buy an engine that no longer has parts available for it...This engine no longer has parts availability so, it would be a huge mistake.

Some internal and/or ignition bits are available new, as long as they are still on the shelf at Tohatsu America. Once they are gone from those shelves, they are gone forever. Many bits, including the everyday parts we use, such as seals, carb and water pump parts, are only available as NOS or reproductions. Beware the money pit.

OMG i been looking for like 3 weeks for this water impellor and i found 3 unopened in the package at a hole in the wall boat repair shop 2 hours from my house and im going there tomorrow and buying all 3 of them ... he said 28.00 each i checked the part numbers and its the right one omg what a lucky find .. PN 353-65021-0 might be willing to sell one of these but im definitly keeping a spare ...
