Good Morning Folks-
I have successfully pulled the restrictor plate from the cab and installed a 11 pitch prop on my little Nissan. I am however, unclear if i have the timing set correctly to 25deg. The pic below shows what is happening at WOT and it does not appear to be in the 25deg position. The boat runs fine, certainly a little faster, but that may in fact be due to the prop size change. Do i need to dis-assemble the flywheel to advance the timing as shown in the pics? I fiddled with the linkage and the butterfly appears to be fully open but i am unclear about the whole timing adjustment thing. Thank you!

Physical throttle (cam/carb's roller difference) depending on throttle setting and motor being On or Off.

Idle /neutral : When at max throttle grip that will go, cam's roller stops at middle of cam's groove. while the time advance stops at 20 deg. This setting will avoid throttling to max grip with motor On when at neutral and limits the reverse speed as well.

Geared Forward / Motor On : When at max grip, the roller stops at upper cam's position while the synched time advance stops at 25 deg. Full throttle operation between idle and max grip position is achieved.
