Last season I had a problem with the primer bulb collapsing. The fuel tank vent is open, but I think my hose was too flexible and was collapsing where it makes a sharp bend. So I'm replacing the line. What size should I use? 3/8, or 5/16? Also I read an article that said the bulb should be closer to the engine than the tank and be in a vertical position pumping upward. Please help!
