Nissan 90 hp year model???

I recently bought a 1976 Aquasport 170 that has a decent runnign Nissan 90 on it. The model # is NS90-A, serial # 3B7-1, 15016. Anybody help????

Thanks a bunch. Gave them a call. It is a 1992 model. Very nice guy on the phone. I have never owned a Nissan outboard, but have read a lot of really positive comments in the last few days.

BTW, I tilted the motor up to transport it, and the oil injection tank leaked 2 stroke oil into the motor cover. Seems to coming from around the small cap with a stick (probably a sensor) attached to it. Anybody else had a leak when the motor was tilted up??

The rubber seal around the sensor has shrunk with age. Clean and goop it with liquid rubber or buy a new sensor.

I appreciate the advice. Would you just make a nice bead of Liquid Rubber around the lid or goop the whole rubber piece up with it?? I really need to repair it as Nissan dealers are a littel scarce. Thanks again.

The less you use the less likely it will be to stay stuck. The prescribed method is to replace the sender. Under the circumstances I would just load it up with sealant and hope that overkill will keep it in place.
