nissan 9.9 ignition coil

I have a 2003 9.9 4cycle NSF9.9B2, at the end of last season my ignition coil failed, when I bought a replacement coil its ground wire is not the male/female plug type, it is placed through I assume one of the mounting bolts to ground it.

I have not tried it yet, as I'd rather ask if this style of coil will work with my engine, they both look identical except for said ground wire connection.

Nope....Now go to a Nissan or Tohatsu dealer and get the correct coil.
