Nissan 8HP starts but dies - won't run

Nissan 8HP 2 cycle ran fine until today. 1 minute out after a 1 pull start, it slowly lost power and died. It would start momentarily at idle then die. If I let it sit awhile it starts for a bit longer, maybe 5 seconds then dies. Choking or bulb squeezing does not help.

I checked all fuel connections for leaks, blew out the fuel filter, replaced the fuel with newer fuel. Bulb is still full. Vent is not blocked.

Where do I dig next? Any ideas?

Could be an electrical related issue, Bad Ignition Coil, CD ? Provided all fuel circuit tank to carb is immaculate clean...How old is that horse ?

Yep. Diagnose fuel system (is the bowl filling?), and then run the electrical tests.
