I have come across a nice clean Nissan 50C , 390-1, serial # 22211. This engine needs a lower unit. My guess is that it is a 1990 issue of this model. Which other Nissan/Tohatsu engines share the same lower unit? I am looking for one at this time and hope to have this workhorse up and running by spring. It strikes me as a superb power plant. Really looks well made and thought out. Any suggestions on which lower units will fit are welcome, as well as information leading to a used one.
