The hooks that lock on the tilt pin are working in reverse. When engine is engaged in forward. the hooks raise up. When engine is engaged in reverse the hooks lock on tilt pin. Is this the result of a crossed wire? And if so, where is the connector located? Thanks in advance!!<br />Dean Ray

that is how it should work, this way, when you put motor in reverse and rev it up, the motor stays flush against back of boat and not fling up in the air.
