I have a 2005 Nissan 40 hp that simply died . It cranked back up but now will not idle runs poorly at low speeds but runs great at higher speed. Not smoking not making noises. What problem might I be having?
this is a 2005 4 stroke fuel injected 3 cylinder with 30 lbs. of compression on one cylinder.

Is that a 2 or 4 strokes engine. If at low speeds you mean idle to fast idle, you could have idle circuit with issues, clogged, gummed up. Other issues, internal tank mesh filter or fuel pump filter obstructed with fuel impurities, some kind of fuel restriction, check, clean tank and filter. That engine runs at 107 PSI when new, having 30 it's way low...

What is your precise model? TLDI motors have on-board diagnostics. If you have a North American motor, it's a TLDI. If so, grab your Factory service manual, and put the motor in diagnostic mode, or have your dealer look at it. Hint: start by resetting the TPS.
