Nissan 3.5 hp 2 stroke spitting water from exhaust holes

2003 3.5 hp 2 stroke engine.

Just noticed today that while the engine is peeing at a reduced stream from the pump tube, there is actually water spraying out of the two exhaust holes in the shaft. Engine still runs fine, but may I assume there is a gasket amiss somewhere?

Welcome to Iboats,

Water drains through exhaust holes and lower leg drain holes, it's normal, no gaskets issues involved whatsoever.
