Nissan 25 problems

Hey guys have a question for yall. I have a 83 Nissan NS25B. The motor idles fine and starts up fairly easy. The problem I am having is it starts to break up at high rpms. The motor seems to have plenty of power to get on plane it just starts sputtering and missing at WOT and some in the midrange. By the way what mix do I need to mix the gas at. I just got the motor and was using the gas the guy gave me with it.

You have to determine if the problem is in the fuel system or ignition system.

Yeah the only thing is it will only do it when its under load. Out of the water it runs great. I am nervous if its something serious I can't find the parts for it.

Practically nothing is available for it due to its age.

I think I might have found the problem. I tore into the carb and it looked really clean, but when I took the bowl off there was a jet laying in there. I found were it went and screwed it back it. It still dosen't idle 100%, but I can deal with that I am just praying it fixed my top end problem.
