Nissan 2003 9.9 running great then died

I posted earlier engine is 9.9/2003 not a 9.8. I was cruising out to the bay engine was running great then totally went dead. No spark. I hope it is just the coil any ideas? Thank You.

kill switch checked ok ,,also neutral safety switch ok . does anyone know if tohatsu/nissan changed the way the coil is grounded cdi versus blk wire to block. According to tohatsu dealer direct grounded coil was shown to be the right one? maybe said coils had heat failure issues?

If you have two coils, the chances of both of them failing is pretty slim.

They have not changed the design. They did make a change on the CD modules. Just take your service manual and run the test procedures. There have not been any issues with the system
