I'm having a gradual loss of mojo over the last 6 months of daily use. It starts fine, runs ok, but just doesn't rev up at all like it used to. Very anemic.
I have tried just about everything to fix this:
Check prop for dings (ok)
Clean the skiff bottom
Replaced spark plug, (was fouled a bit black)
Replace fuel filter (was ok)
Check fuel flow from tank (Ok)
Disassemble and clean carb (looked fine)
Check needle and sliding barrel for wear (ok)
Check float height (ok)
Check reed valve sealing (ok)
Check for binding in foot, change gear oil (ok)
Check for engine stiffness (ok)
Check intake gasket for leaks (ok)
Disassemble powerhead!
Check ring and bore for glaze (ok)
I cant check the ignition timing, as it is electronic on this engine- nothing to adjust!
Any ideas or further suggestions? Thanks, LOKI

Hows the compression check out?

I have not checked the compression with a guage, but it feels strong. I was just wondering if the exhaust might have some kind of obstruction? Has anybody heard of this with a relatively low hours engine?

have you de-carbed the motor? what oli: fuel mix are you running, how fresh is your fuel?

but a compressioncheck will tell you the most
