Nissan 18hp - red oil pressure light

The red oil pressure light on my Nissan 18hp usually stays on when I first
start it up. I shut the motor off, and then start it again. On the second round,
the light comes on, and then shuts off. The engine runs perfect, so I can't
believe there is a problem with it, so what's up with the light and/or sensor
not working on the first start up?

Could be a bad ground on the engine or a bad CD module. Take it into a dealer and let them test out the system.

I fixed the problem by making sure that the male/female wire connections in
the front of the motor were making good connections.

That motor ain't seen a dealer yet, and even though I have nothing against
them, I hope it stays that way.
