Nice Guys and Anniversary Today

Man I am sooooo glad I aint single no more.

Nice guys finish last. End of story.

So I thought I'd start a new thread since its my anniversary today.

To Ken I say:
What? Are you kidding?

Today I have been married for 13 years and have:
1 Beautiful wife
3 beautiful kids
Everyone healthy.
And I can't say I've finished last as I'm more blessed than I have any right to be.

So if you're a "Nice Guy", stick in there.

I ain't the Ken he was referring to but I'l pipe in. I was very selective about who I was "involved" with in high school and hence a nice guy. Sometimes I think of all that I could have been more "involved" with had I not been such a nice guy. That being said I have a great wife, 2 great girls, and another future terror on the way. I ain't in last by no means.

8 years in April. 3 kids. And I got the most wonderful wife in the world! I pity all you other poor suckers that got stuck with #2, or worse!

I dont like it and I think it is wrong, but thats the way it is. As a "nice guy" I know firsthand. All my buds were liars and players and got tons of action. I never could do it, therefore my action was limited.

Anyway, like I said, I am soooo glad I am married to one heck of a great gal.

I'm confused. You correlate being a liar and a player with success? And lack of "action" as finishing last?

I'm not sure your wife would appreciate that sentiment. I had plenty of friends that slept around (both guys and gals) and I can tell you, 90% of them all have issues now. (Broken marriages, alcoholism, unhappy current relationships, children they don't see). I've lost track of most of them but the ones I do keep in touch with are a mess.
