NGK vs Champion

I looked and didn't find this topic in a previous post.

I have a bias to use Champion plugs if possible. No really rational reason.
Had a Yamaha bike years ago, switched from the NGK stock plug to a Champion "equivalent"...switched back just as quickly....
Not a good fit! So I have learned that these cross-matches are not exact....

Am running Champions in a 2005 40 HP 2-stroke Nossan. Don't even remeber why I switched....or if I did.
A few weeks and I'll be launching for the season and need to buy 3 plugs for the spring tuning.

Two questions...
1) Do these motors come with Champion or NGK as OEM?
2) What is the collective wisdom on the better plug in these motors. Intuitively, since they seem fine, it's probably an "if it ain't broke situation.
But I am wondering whether Nissan crowd, and the wizards, have any strong opinion.

They will either come with NGK or ND plugs. NGK is pretty much the standard.

OK, thanks.
So I must have changed them for the Champion "equivalent". No complaint with performance, but I might as well get back to OEM.

Re: NGK vs Champion

My Yamaha and Nissan outboards get ngk, my evinrude gets champion plugs. Seems to me like the Japanese motors run better with NGK.
