I'm looking for NGK plugs for my 2003 Merc 20. It takes NGK BP8H-N-10, but I'm having trouble locating them locally.

I called NAPA and they said they carry them, but their website lists the Autolite equivalent for that number. NAPA page Are these actually made by NGK, or an equivalent? I called the local marina and they offered me Champion equivalents.

I've read here in the past the Merc's run better with NGK's, so looking for advice.

Thanks.

Stick with the NGKs. Float test Champions! No experience with Autolite. Bondo?

Chris..........

Sometimes the crossovers are "almost" correct. Go to West Marine or Mercury Parts Express. They will have them.

Thanks for the advice..With so many Mercurys around, I don't get why they're so hard to find.
