After last week's Wildcard Games, these games should be tame. Maybe!

4:35 EST today on CBS - Chiefs at Patriots - NE favored by 5- 5 1/2. Gronk (knee) is expected to play. Edelman (questionablr - foot) says he's back after a long absence with a steel plate in the left shoe. KC is looking to make it 12 wins in a row after a 1-5 start.

8;15 EST today on NBC - Packers at Cardinals - AZ favored by 7-5 1/2. This is a rematch of week 16 when Rodgers was sacked 8 times in the worst loss of his career.

1:05 EST Sunday on Fox - Seahawks at Panthers - CAR favored by 2-3, the slimmest of odds this week. Coach Pete Carroll confirmed there's a "really good chance" Marshawn Lynch (probable, abdomen) plays Sunday. Does Carroll even know after last week?

4:40 EST Sunday on CBS - Steelers at Broncos - DEN favored by 7 1/2-9, the deeps odds of the week. Pitt is in trouble with Brown on the sidelines after Burfict tried to take his head off and Roethlisberger has an hurt throwing shoulder.​

So no Wildcards are favored, just like last week. I don't know if any will move on to the Conference Championship games.

I'm hoping the Patriots can pull out a win, but their lack luster end to the season looms over them, so I'm not betting the ranch. Even with the injuries, they should have been able to win another game or 2 and have the #1 seed. Hoping for a Steelers win, because I think Denver will be tough to beat in Denver for any of the teams.

Will we see a Peyton/Brady AFC championship? If so it'll be in Denver...but NE has some tough sledding to get past a very hot KC team first. They haven't looked like a winning team on the field, and this week brought a black-eyed head coach, a trip to the ER due to synthetic marijuana, a still banged-up O line, and Gronk will likely be limited. I hope they can pull it out. KC is a tough draw.

KC looked a little flat in the first half.

Hopefully the 2 games today will be good games. Pitts QB...RB and WR are injured/out...if they are going to win then the Defense and backups will Have to have a great game.
