newbies, rules, and stickies

any way to make the newbies actually read the rules and understand what the stickies are when they sign up? maybe a mandatory 30 second slide show showing the rules, stickies, search function, etc.

many of the FNG's post questions covered in the stickies at the tops of the forums. Then again, some of the rest of us are guilty as well.

Just a thought.

you realize how boring this place would be if no one had newbies to complain about?


personally I had stickies most of the time as it really doesn't cover 'my' (perceived) problem be cause it's 'me' and it so different from the other 30 people who don't matter to 'me'.
