Newbie to forum and boating needs help, Please

Hi all
Name's Tim, hope you are all well.
Ok here goes....
Concerning a 1967?(not quite sure but pretty sure)
Starcraft 16' (looks a lot like the sunrise model of that year but only 16' not 20')
Engine: Chevy(Mercruiser or is that same thing in boats) I-4 151ci?? 120 HP I/O (runs great!)
Problems:
-Limitswitch to change gears shorting out coil?? Or just not working.(replace switch and where to find??)
-Not planing out has 19 pitch prop on which I'm guessing is too big(what's right size?)
-powertrim gets stuck when all the way up
-hydraulic rams leaking the tiniest bit of oil but still a concern
-where to find parts
-where to get engine specs
-boat is in pretty good shape overall needs some tlc
price was right at $800.00 (I hope anyway ) with trailer and lots of extras

You have a Mercruiser 120hp,.... with a Pre-Alpha, probably a Mod.0 outdrive....
GM(Chevy) built the long block,+ That's It......

If the motor is stalling when you shift,.... The Shift Interupt Switch is Working Perfectly,.......
What it's telling you is,... You need a New Lower Shift Cable........

You maybe Right,......
Or,......
The motor is Not putting out the 120hp it Should be..........

-powertrim gets stuck when all the way up

Greasing All the pivot points Usually cures That........

-hydraulic rams leaking the tiniest bit of oil but still a concern

You can try to Rebuild them, or just replace'm...........

-where to find parts

-where to get engine specs

Well,....... I don't have them,.. But somebody will be along that Does,......
In the mean time,...... Have a read Here,+ You'll atleast learn What things are called,+ how they Work......
