Hi everyone, Im Justin from Mint Hill NC. I have recently been given a 79 SRV220 Cuddy Cabin from my uncle. Im new to boating as well as to Sea Ray.

The boat hasnt been used in over 3-4 years. It was covered at one time but the tarp eventually broke down from the elements. Well since I have had the boat in my possesion, I have cleaned the heck out of it, replaced/rebuilt the top of the engine cover and the center floor piece over the tank. 95 percent of the wood on the boat I have sanded the grey off and re-cleared. Finally got the leftover leaves and small crap vaccumed out.

My uncle said that the boat was running perfectly when he parked it. He had even winterized it. So once it gets warmer, my friend and i are going to try to get it running. If you have any suggestions on what to do to get it running, please let me know!!!

Or if you have any helpful hints please feel free to post them.

Thanks!!!

Welcome to iboats! For any questions you have that aren't specific to SeaRay brand boats.....you'd be better off posting them in the more general sections. These manufacture-specific sections of the forum don't get a lot of traffic. There is a WEALTH of information and expertise in the I/O repair section for your engine and drive.
