The origional engine is a 1999 5.0Gi. The New engine is a 2006 5.7 Gxi. Using the original SX dirives.

This one is easy enough. This is the new engine harness main power feed connector. The one on the original harness was round. My question is can I buy a male pigtail for the boat harness to fit this connector?

Where does this three wire connector go? It has a red, blue, and green wire. A matching connector on the boat harness is connected to another pigtail on the boat harness.

Where does this two wire pigtail go?

Where does the trim indicator from the drive connect?

The connector you show in this picture.

Goes directly to the trim pump motor. The relays and fuses for the system are in the relay box on top of the new engine. The wires that now go from the trim button to the trim pump will now go to a connector on the engine.
I'm going to have to check some service info, but I really don't remember seeing any adapter harnesses in any service bulletins.

Great, That's why I like having a SN to work with. After an hour of blind searching........ nothing.
With the SN, 5 minutes and the Volvo service kit number is 3883374

Don't have a clue never seen one. But with it, I will bet the trim pump will work.
BTW. Full blown list price is less than 20 bucks.

Thanks for your help. I just sat out there and confused myself with these wire connectors. Never even thought about them being trim ckt connectors.
