New(used )boat checks

Cosidering buying a 16'cc alum. Sea Ark with 2000 40Hp Merc. Will check compression, lower unit oil,shifting, and water output. Any other things to watch for?

dmessy,<br /><br />Don't know if the Sea Ark is welded or riveted. Take a good look at the bottom, be suspicious of dents around rivets, or joints.<br /><br />Sounds like you have the engine checks in order.<br /><br />Happy hunting!
