New Trolling Motor Battery Charging

I will be picking up my boat tomorrow with a new Minn Kota Riptide Powerdrive 24V trolling motor installed. Just wondering what time I can expect for committing to charging before I can take it out on the lake for a test ride. <br /><br />Helpful advice appreciated<br />Kevin

Is the shop installing the batteries too? If so, they should already be charged.<br /><br />If someone sells you a battery that isn't charged, do not buy it, a battery gets damaged from sitting without a charge.
