New transom, what is best to seal drain tube thru tramsom

New transom is in, and done.

What is best, to use for a drain plug ? And what is the best sealer to use thru the plywood layers !

I could just use the same brass tube and plug style as before.

New Transom is 2-1/4" thick

Drill appx 1/8 inch oversize for the tube.
Use a good epoxy based filler to seat the brass tube in the hole.

That should outlive the rest of the transom.

Ayuh,.... I prefer to slather the hole with a filler/ fairin' mix, let it set up, 'n screw a 1/2" garboard plug fittin' over the sealed hole,.....
