New Trailstar Boat Trailer, No Lights

I took delivery of my Basstracker Classic on 18 Dec 2020. Everything on the trailer worked fine. I've used the boat/trailer about five times so far. Yesterday I hooked it up and no trailer lights. After checking everything on the Truck and trailer. The Truck is fine, fuses good and I bought a tester for the truck and the seven pin connector is fully functional. I can't find a problem with the trailer except it doesn't have any functional lights. Can anyone help me in how to troubleshoot/find the problem. I could take it to Uhaul and get it fixed for $100 or so. Can it just be a problem with the ground? If so how do I find it?

first, check the ground. you use a test light or a multi-meter. the ground is the white wire

second, check the truck. new trucks have separate circuit for towing than the truck lights.

After my initial post, I went out and started checking the trailer from one end to the other. Was just about ready to give up when I looked at the truck and trailer connectors very closely. Noticed what looked like a small piece of paper, like a 1/4 inch piece the size of a little finger nail over one of the connectors on the trailer plug. Cleaned it off and wala the lights worked. Paper looked like a piece of a price tag or inventory tag and was probably on the plug during assembly of the trailer. All' well that ends well. All that aggravation over a small piece of paper.
