I am looking for a new/used trailer to tow a 1990 21.5 ft. wellcraft. I have located a 2004 new tandem that was under a 22 ft. Rinker runabout. It has never been used, but the issue is the bunks are not adjustable. Are boats of this size fairly standard, or would I have trouble trying to use this with my boat.

thanks,

There's Nothing fairly Standard about Boat Bottoms,.......
But,...
You Might get Lucky,......

If the Price is Right,.... You could Fit it to your boat.........

It's not a big deal making bunks adjustable. Just need to cut off the bunk supports and put an adjustable bracket in its place.

You may have to have the brackets made. Any competent welder can probably help you out.

Re: new trailer

I bought a used Boat Trailer last year that had, had a 21 ft boat on it. My
boat is 20 ft. It took me five launches to get the trailer and boat lined up.
The winch stand also had to be adjusted. Don't shorten the trailer tongue
whatever you do. Move the winch stand back, keep the tongue long.
It's relly hard to believe a trailer that new doessn't have adjustable bunks.
However as pointed out the Brackets can be changed and or a good welder
can fit. The problem is doing it with the boat on the trailer so as to get a
proper fit.
My boat weighs 3500 lbs so it had to be adjusted with the boat off the trailer.
That's why it took me five launches to get it right.

Re: new trailer

The marina lifted the boat off of the trailer, and placed carbon shims between the bunks and the brackets so they now support the boat properly. It was 2 hours of labor, but worth it. Now the trailer fits the boat like a glove.
