Hey everyone. My name is Jeff, I am 31 and live in MD with my wife and twin 8 month old boys. I bought a 1993 Godfrey Marine Aqua Patio for 2k about 2 months ago. It was in beat up shape but came with a 2000 Yamaha 50 Outboard. I went on to sell that motor for 3k and then the restore started. I have many pics but am giving you the before and after. This was a full restore, new floors, wiring, vinyl, carperting, and now a motor which you will see a photo of right now. I am posting pics to share but my main question is about the electrical.

I have all the wiring run but the problem is as follows:
I let my cousin do all the wiring in the console and its a nest of wires. The best part is that they are all run where the grounds are connected to the main ground by a bolts and nut. Its horrible! How am i supposd to run these, is there a breaker, I honestly have no clue! Help me out. If you have any advice and have time, please call me or just reply. Would really appreciate the help.

Thanks, Jeff. 443-534-5344

All of the grounds can and should be tied together somehow. Each of your switched circuits should have a fuse or circuit beaker on it. Some of your other equipment such as your stereo system should also be protected.

Typically, hot (+) wires are run from the battery to circuit breakers, to the switches, and then to the light, pump, or what ever is being wired. The ground wire (-) from the battery goes to a common connection point and then to the device(s) being wired.

Please post some pictures of your console wiring and maybe we can help you out better.

Ok, I will post some pictures. There is no breaker or switch box at all. So I will need to get them. Since I am purchasing them is there anything you can think of where I can the total setup when I simply connect the wires?

Thanks Again!
