New to the Boating world.

I grew up on Stockton lake in, MO. Spent many years on the water as a kid. Now I'm a responsible adult, and bought my first boat. Which is a 92 celebrity 200 br with the 5.7 mercruiser. After a bit of research I have yet to find much information on this line. I understand they were bought and sold before they went out of business. I received a ton of paperwork from the second owner, but a user manual was not included. Anyone have access or more information? If anyone is interested, I can upload what I received.

Are they not associated or even a predecessor to the crownline boats ? Something in my head telling me this...if they aren’t...the hulls sure are simalar. Maybe I’m wrong.

Celebrity sold to Bombardier and the owners started Crownline and Mariah boats. My 2nd boat was a '90 Celebrity 180. FYI boat user manuals are worthless as far as information specific to the boat.

It is great to have a responsible adult join the forums Keep in mind that boat ownership will test that responsible adult thing.

Boat ‘user manuals’ are pretty much non-existent, unlike automobiles which have extensive manuals. The best boat brand for manuals that I have seen is Chaparral.

So, don’t hold your hopes up for finding a manual online or elsewhere. The good thing is that most of the stuff you will have to deal with is related to the engine and outdrive - those have extensive manuals.

To expand on what Ted comment ed, most boat user "manuals" are a 4 page brochure pointing out the steering wheel, the pointy end is the bow, the square end with the propeller is the stern, and a list of servicing dealers

The powertrain manual will be your best resource
