Going to be splashing a 2008 Glastron GT 185 XL today. Saw that it has a single rocker switch for trim and trailer.

My old boat had a separatre trailer switch button.

How does that work...did they do away with the up-limit switch and the up button goes all the way to trailer? Or is a press and hold affair to get it up to trailer?

This is an MPC 4000 remote control on a 4.3 Mercruiser..

Thanks!

There are 2 versions of that control. One with trim only for outboard and the other with trim and trailer for mercruiser. The switch is just one but can do different functions if it is the merc. If you truly only has up and down printed on it someone put the wrong one on it.
