It's below deck directly in front of the engine doghouse. I have a previously owned four Winns 170 freedom and I can just lift that section of deck off. There's a crib beneath it which houses the tank (my tank is in terrible shape and I'm about to replace the whole thing). Yours might have screws holding it in place or you might need to cut open the floor i don't know without being there. Here's pics of my ruined fuel sending unit and tank (1989 original)

I think your tank is in the same location. Follow the fuel line from the motor and see where it goes. If you gotta cut the deck to get at it, personally, I would wait til the end of the boating season. Great winter project. If I do jobs like this midseason I have a tendency to rush my work so I can get back on the water and don't do as good of a job lmao. Post pictures and share em here for the next guy
