New to me 1985 Newman 213 Sportster

Hello all, last year we purchased this gently used 1985 Newman 213 Sportster and absolutely love her. But I'm surprised there is so little information on the internet about this boat manufacturer and even less about my model of boat. Hoping to connect with other Newman sportster owners to see what accessories and other bling you've outfitted yours with to give me ideas for future upgrades! My project right now is redoing the used trailer it came with to better fit our beauty. Take care everyone and be safe out there!

Congrats on new boat! It's really great boat. Unfortunately, I know nothing about it but I share your question to my friends. Maybe some of them would have the information you are looking for.

Not really unusual for trailer boats from the 60's through the 80's to not have much information. A lot of builders appeared and disappeared quickly. A quick internet search suggests that Bayliner bought up Newman boats out of Florida. A check with Bayliner might give you some information.

Here is mine and yes very difficult to find any information about these boats. The most info I have is mine is an 1986 Model 203 I/O.
