I have a 1993 4.3lx with the thunderbolt ignition. My ignition sensor in the distributor went bad. I looked all over for the same part but only could find its re-placement. My old part had the studs only for the white/green and red/ white wires. The new one has the wires coming out. Is this just a case of cut and splice since the white the colored wires go to the pre-made attachments and the new wires are set up with eye ends to bolt to something? Thanks for any help. the new part is the Sierra part # 18-5116-1. Sorry if there is a thread on this already, I looked but did not see one.

Howdy

The kit should come with screws and nuts. Take the eye terminals from the boat harness and attach the eye terminal leads from the kit with the screws. Make them tight and then use the heat shrink tubing in the kit to seal the ends. Install the module and then plug the leads in
