This post is clearly a poor attempt to pull our collective chains, but I will humor you.

If this boat actually existed, you would already know it's junk. It has not been cared for and will dime you to death.

If you were actually in the market for a boat, would you want one that looks and performs as you describe?
Of course not.

Carry on!

I am surprised that you were able to fight your way through the crowd of people trying to buy this boat.

My .02 - maybe it is a good deal.
The radio not working is not neccessarily a big deal
The seat could be replaced
The battery is a normal replacement item every 3-4 years
The dieseling of the engine on shutdown is what happens when you run a newer 3.0L on 87 octane, old gas or the idle mixture needs to be increased
Cosmetic damage - like what - dock scrapes?
Prop is a $100 item

So it depends. The main item is determining if the dieseling is just fuel related or something more serious.

Any owner that lets a boat develop this many problems and not repair them is a negligent owner. I would guess the oil has never been changed and the outdrive never serviced or aligned. Probly sat with water in it and am doubtful it was winterized properly. Yes run as fast as you can.

I would not buy it. Your gut is telling you "NO." Look around and find something better even if it costs a little more.

If the interior has been neglected, the power and drive train probably have been neglected too.

I'd bet the below deck and transom probably aren't doing too sporty either.

I'd skip this boat if I was you.

Q4-SS_img11203_900.jpgBoy this is a tough crowd.

I'm with oldjeep; in that I see nothing in the description to scare me off.

The fact that some folks don't care if the radio works is no big deal. I hardly ever turn mine on. It's a stretch to say that leads to poor maintenance.

My boat got it's first dock scrape in the first year. And there are a few small scratches on the keel from beaching. Again; pretty normal wear and tear. Show me a used boat without a single scratch on it.

About 95% of props have some dings after a few outings. Expect a battery to last 3 years.

A hole or tear in a seat could mean someone poked a hole in it; again doesn't necessarily indicate neglect. S--t happens.

Dieseling is most likely caused by crappy gas. Throw 5 gallons of 93 octane and a bottle of gas treatment in there and it'll be gone.

Low retail NADA is $6170. Average retail is $7050. If the thing runs OK and passes a water test, it sounds like a reasonable deal. Since you are getting it for $1550 below average retail, you can afford to fix a couple things.
