A 16-17 ft fiberglass boat. Just brought it home on Monday. I got this boat for the motor and the trailer. The boat is pretty beat up. After I take what I want from it, I will list it on craigslist for free. Somebody will take it off my hands. I got it for a leaf blower that somebody gave me, so basically I got it for free. If I cant give her away, I may just keep her and change it to a fishing boat. Make it a center console and take it out in the bay for some salt water fishing. Would be cheaper then chartering a boat. Hummm, if I could only convince my wife on that fact. :D

Here is the motor I was talking about, its a 1967 Johnson 80 HP. I plan on putting it on my Tri Hull. I don't know much about boat motors but I plan on learning and I plan to totally rebuild this one.

Here's a front picture of my Tri Hull. Its a 1972 Sea Ray. The floor is solid and the Hull is solid. I got it for free. I plan on putting some new seats in her and put the 80 HP motor on her for some fun times with the family. It may take me a couple of years to complete but I will get it done.

Here is a back picture of the TriHull. Just looking at this picture I am daydreaming of jumping off the boat for some swimming. Pulling a tube behind her and just tearing up the water.

This is my little 14' Astro. I got her for free also. She isn't in the best of shape. The floor is soft and the transom is rotten. I take her out fishing on the lakes where gas motors aren't allowed. She is light and we can have some fun with her. I put a 55 Lb thrust transom mount trolling motor on her and we will go all over the lake. We use bag chairs for our seats. She isnt pretty but she is mine. I plan on fixing her up, put a new floor in her and a new transom. But that will wait a little.

Re: New Poster and Pics of my boats.

Yea the boats are easy to come by around here. The trailers are the hard part. The trailer under the first boat doesn't have a title to it. I'm going thru the steps to get a title now. But that's another story.

I get to work on them when money allows. I have plenty of time but the funds are limited. My first order of business is to get the Johnson running. You will see me in the engine section posting questions once I get the engine off and in my shop.

I'm kinda looking forward to it.

Well you came to the right place. I dont know anything about outboards so I wont be of any help. Some of the people here have been running and fixing them for many many years. They can help you get it running.
Hope you get to go boating soon.
