A 16-17 ft fiberglass boat. Just brought it home on Monday. I got this boat for the motor and the trailer. The boat is pretty beat up. After I take what I want from it, I will list it on craigslist for free. Somebody will take it off my hands. I got it for a leaf blower that somebody gave me, so basically I got it for free. If I cant give her away, I may just keep her and change it to a fishing boat. Make it a center console and take it out in the bay for some salt water fishing. Would be cheaper then chartering a boat. Hummm, if I could only convince my wife on that fact.
Here is the motor I was talking about, its a 1967 Johnson 80 HP. I plan on putting it on my Tri Hull. I don't know much about boat motors but I plan on learning and I plan to totally rebuild this one.
Here's a front picture of my Tri Hull. Its a 1972 Sea Ray. The floor is solid and the Hull is solid. I got it for free. I plan on putting some new seats in her and put the 80 HP motor on her for some fun times with the family. It may take me a couple of years to complete but I will get it done.
Here is a back picture of the TriHull. Just looking at this picture I am daydreaming of jumping off the boat for some swimming. Pulling a tube behind her and just tearing up the water.
This is my little 14' Astro. I got her for free also. She isn't in the best of shape. The floor is soft and the transom is rotten. I take her out fishing on the lakes where gas motors aren't allowed. She is light and we can have some fun with her. I put a 55 Lb thrust transom mount trolling motor on her and we will go all over the lake. We use bag chairs for our seats. She isnt pretty but she is mine. I plan on fixing her up, put a new floor in her and a new transom. But that will wait a little.
