new/old motor?

I just bought a 9.5 hp.evenrude sport twin<br />mod.#9323B ser.#J0001899 <br />I need to know what year this motor<br />is and what my fuel mix should be.<br />Oh,and where could I get an owners manual for it?

Walt,yes I'm sure the mod.# is 9323B

My book shows the SportTwin models from 1964 - 1970. I doubt yours is any older than that, so I'm assuming it must be newer. Sorry I can't be of anymore help...<br />Someday I'm gonna find a source that lists all serial numbers & corrosponding years for all makes.<br /><br /><br />Walt

That engine ran from 64 to 72 or 73 after which they went to 9.9 /15 h.p. .Fuel mix is 50 to 1 .
