I have just bought a 1977 EbbTide bass boat with a 115 Mercury with tilt/trim. I believe the motor is about the same year as the boat, but I'm not sure. The serial number on the motor is 3428314. Can you please tell me the year this motor was made? <br /><br />I have recently found this board, and really enjoyed reading many of the post. I hope to contribute my 2 cents on a regular basis.<br /><br />I grew up in Panama City, Florida, and have always lived near water. When I was young I worked on the docks at a marina, and my parents operated Treasure Island Marina for a number of years.
