So i got my boat to start fine from the other day. Take the boat to the lake and when i put it into gear it doesnt move at all and the more throttle you give it it boggs down more then stalls out. It does this in reverse and forward but quits faster in forward. It seems to me like something in the drive is seized or something. I took it back out of the water and put it in gear and turn the prop. It turns over the engine but right around where the lower case splits theres a metal on metal noise that doesnt sound good. Put the boat in neutral and the prop spins nicely. What could this be?
