I was just here yesterday and posted "new motor advice". Still kind of undecided on carb or MPI.Anyways, just realized I have a full(78 gals)tank of gas 6 months old with no fuel stabilizer.Crap, just filled the tank when my motor bit the big one. When I put the new motor in (hopefully within the next 2-4 wks)what should I do about the fuel and tank ?

Ayuh,...... I Agree Completely,....

The amount of Time it takes Gas to Go Bad,...
Is Directly Related to the Volume of the Gas,.....

A teaspoonful would Go Bad in Months,......
Gallons takes Considerably Longer..........

I wouldn't hesitate At All, in burning that 78gals in the Boat,....
New Motor or Not.....

Observe sound break-in procedures. You might want to use-up half of that gas and top-off fresh before long full-throttle runs. You'd do that breaking it in anyhow.

Add some good Octane Booster...I do it with my big filled stabiled tank every spring anyway..few bucks, can't hurt
