new member with neglected 1973 Chaparral 18

hello. Not sure where to put this, but since she needs restored, figured this was the spot. She is a 1973 Chaparral 18 with a VP AQ130C witha 270 outdrive. In bad need of new floor and stringers, and rewired. Lots of bad scratches in the hull, so she will need gelcoated. This is my first boat project, several bikes and trucks under my belt. She was free with no trailer, so I figure the money invested in fixing her will be worth it.
Have been trying to figure out starter wiring, currently have it out to be taken in an bench tested.
Will try an post pics when I figure that part out.
