Grew up on the water and finally bought a beginner boat. 1985 Cheetah 166. Nothing special, just something to get the family out on and enjoy the water. We stay primarily on Tims Ford lake in southern middle Tn. The family and i love the summer and the water. Pulled my brother-in-law on the wake board for the first time Sunday. Wasn't sure if the boat could handle it but once i got planned out it did great (for a 4 banger). Just wanted to say hello.

Thanks, will definitely need help on some things. The boat sat for around 2 years. I replaced the fuel pump, and had to have trim motor rebuilt. Then about 2 weeks ago. I spun my first engine coupler. The boat dealer said i could fix it myself that it wasn't that big of a job. It was a little more than i was wanting to get into but, i got everything back together. Still have some minor adjusting to do on linkage cables but it did fine this past weekend.

Tims ford is my favorite place to boat. I will watch for a cheetah and give out the iboats yell if I see you. I have not been out there yet this summer and am itching to get there soon!

Thanks for the welcome all. We usualy put in at plesent grove. Gonna have a some friends and family out this weekend so just give the hollar.
