Hello to all!

Love the forum..... Just started to read the threads but there is some very good information to be found. I cant find anything about storing the motor on its side.
I brought the motor from the boat to my basement for the winter. When i carried it to the basement I let it lay on the side of the motor when I rested. s this an issue? The motor was on its side for about 15 mins. The motor hung there for about 3 months now straight up and down.
I drained all the motor oil today. Because the motor is being shipped up north a few hours, and the guy wants to lay it on its side for the ride up.

Last question how hard is it to drain the gas out of the carbs>?

Thanks for all the help.
