well, i've made some progress...might post this as a 'new' thread it has taken so long...<br />it is a johnson 9.9 mag flash cd sailmaster...that is pretty much all i can find written on the thing- if i knew how to get inside maybe i could find sn/model/year/etc numbers...but, i can't...there is a lever of some type on the back(water side) under the edge of the cover that i can move- it dosen't seem to do anything though...<br />the switch is black, pushbutton, on the side on the bracket(?)'under'the motor sort of with 2 wires...<br /><br />it does nothing- no click, no sound for several/many pushings, then it will maybe click once or twice- then it starts...<br />thanks,<br />mike
