New here with some questions 1966 Orlando Clipper

Hello everyone,

My name is Mike and i just bought my first boat, a 1966 Orlando Clipper. It is all original, the engine is a Johnson 80HP Super Sea-Horse electramatic, and it runs great. The seats and the bonnet are still in perfect condition so is the rest of the boat. It even has the original trailor, Murrray, that the previous owner got with the boat. This boat was well loved and cared for, he bought it new and it still looks new.

I just am excited to have a boat, but I am even more excited that I have a classic boat like this.

Ok, I have a question about grease. The books I have are the original for the 1966 Johnson 80HP and it mentions Type A and Type C grease. Type C would be gear lube most likely like, Sierra Type C Gear Lube 10oz 18-9620-0, but what is Type A as I can not find it by searching for Type A.

This is what I am working with and not knowing the types of grease to use is upsetting as this should be basic knowledge I believe.
