Hi, I just bought a 1970 Starcraft V-180 w/ a mercruiser 140 sterndrive. It need a little work interior wise. I would like to know how and where to mount the blower motor. I have four vents 2 on gunwales and 2 on transom. Which ones do I use. And how many blowers should I have, one or two? All help and advice appriciated

I have one blower and my boat passed coast guard inspection in 2006.
I have my blower hooked to one of the vent in the stern.
I also smell my bilge for gas fumes, use the blower and I just installed a gas fumes detector.
I have caught a leaky fuel pump with my pre trip checks of the engine. Look for leaks, oil/gas in the bilge.

Good idea didnt think of that.(smelling bilge for gas) So the motor mounts to the stern vent. Where does the tube go?
