New Guy needs help with Propshaft Removal, Volvo Pental SX

How do you remove the propshat from a Volvo penta SX out drive? I've remove all the screws, even the one up inside the housng. Do you need a special tooL?

You not only need special tools, you need a service manual. The bearing carrier is also what determines your rolling torque (Bearing Preload).

Thanks for the help. I have a Selco manual, seems that it skipped right over the carrier removal and reinstallation. I gave up took it too the boat shop. Seems one boat shop lied. Told me that it wouldnt' take but about i hour and common tools.
